On Monday December 15th, 2025, GDC Slate Co. will be working on the Town Hall roof with a large lift for an indeterminate amount of time. This work could last several days or a few weeks depending on the weather and the amount of work required after a more firsthand, detailed look at the cupola and roof slates. During the daylight working time, Main Street will be reduced to at least one lane, and certain parking spaces will be temporarily eliminated day-to-day depending on the positioning of the lift and lane closure. A Police detail will be present to help facilitate order and assist with traffic safety.
