Wilton’s Natural Resource Inventory has been updated and is available to all residents and businesses. Several residents won the Great Blue Heron Naming Contest. The Wilton Conservation Commission is responsible for updating information on the town’s wetlands, wildlife habitats, forests, farm soils, grasslands, and other special natural resources so we know what we have, what we want to preserve, and how to manage those special resources for generations to come. This information also informs the Master Plan Chapter. As residents and businesses, you will want to look at the environmental and special characteristics that exist on your properties.
