The Town of Wilton seeks candidates for the following job openings:



CONSERVATION COMMISSION RECORDER

The Wilton Conservation Commission is seeking a Recorder to attend our meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the Second Congregational Church in downtown Wilton at 7:00pm. The church requires that all attendees wear a mask. We do not video tape or electronically record our meetings.

The Recorder's duties will be:
- Attend meetings and take minutes;
- After the meeting, edit the raw minutes into a draft and email it to Alan Preston, Chairman of the Wilton Conservation Commission, for posting and distribution;
- To update the draft minutes once the commission has approved the minutes at the following month’s meeting;
- The week before each month's meeting, to work with the Chairman to produce an agenda for that meeting. The agenda, which is also the required meeting notice, must be posted at least twenty four hours before the meeting to comply with NH's Right To Know laws.

Note that in the future, due to conditions beyond our control, we may be required to conduct our meetings electronically.

Knowledge of New Hampshire RSAs and experience recording meetings is highly desirable, however we are willing to work with someone who is willing to learn.

This position pays $20/hr.

POLICE DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Town of Wilton is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position reports to the Chief of Police. The ideal applicant would be knowledgeable in the use of computers and related software, able to type, file, and handle other office duties, and have municipal experience. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT WORKER

The Town of Wilton is accepting applications for a full-time self-motivated person for the Highway Department.  The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of a Class B CDL and clean driving record.  Should also have heavy equipment experience such as grader, front end loader and backhoe.  Plow experience in a Class B vehicle with a wing desirable.
