King Brook Road Bridge Construction and Detour

King Brook Road Bridge

Mobilization for the construction of the King Brook Road Bridge is to begin the week of August 24th 2026. While detours may not begin to immediately come into effect, the Bridge will be closed and detours circumnavigating King Brook Road Bridge will shortly be posted and are anticipated to last until at least the early part of November 2026.

Detours will follow either Russell Hill Road or Kimball Hill Road; no temporary bridge is to be implemented, and King Brook Road Bridge will not be traversable during construction.

Residents, delivery services, area business employees, and travelers should be aware of these large, winding detours and plan accordingly.

Town personnel appreciate the medium-term inconvenience of these detours, but look forward to the King Brook Road Bridge being reconstructed and enjoyed for many years to come!
