Certified copies of birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates can be obtained at the Wilton Town Clerk's Office. New Hampshire vital records are considered to be private and access to them is restricted by statute to those individuals who have a "direct and tangible interest" in the record. This includes: the applicant; a member of their immediate family (by blood or marriage); their guardian or legal representative.

Anyone requesting a certified copy of a record must present positive identification including: a driver's license; passport or other picture identification; or, in the absence of acceptable picture identification shall complete this state form (opens in new window).
Submit your request form(opens in new window), payment and proof of identification in person or by mail to the Town Clerk's office. If submitting your request by mail, please make checks payable to Town of Wilton and mail to Wilton Town Clerk, PO Box 83, Wilton, NH 03086. You may also request vital records using our Online Payments portal.
