Wilton, NH - Town of Wilton personnel have been notified that people and companies with recent or current town business have received e-mailed requests from fraudulent emails requesting contact for wire transfers or mailed checks to the town office.

Please be advised the town of Wilton does NOT do wired money transfers, and if you or your business receive such a request, it is fraudulent.

The fraudulent e-mails and invoices appear to look official and list the town’s correct address. 

• Please verify any requests for payment by contacting the associated departments before writing checks.
• The most recent fraudulent emails are from “.usa” email addresses.
• Wilton personnel utilize .gov accounts.
